Awhi the taniwha might look quite ferocious, but he's actually got a bit of a reputation for being very, very cuddly.

Designed by Moana Road's favourite, Miriama Grace-Smith, this shaggy green taniwha has green feet and spikes and a pale blue chest covered in 'tattoos'.
